Examples — what you can build and why

Target

This page describes intended behaviour or structure. No implementation is claimed unless a section is explicitly marked Current implementation or Evidence.

Every example on these pages follows one skeleton: the business problem, the product intent, the Vision-to-Production path for that vertical (which agents, blueprints, templates and gates), the generated product shape (a system context and its bounded contexts, modules and templates), the prototype reference in ConnectSoft.DesignPrototypes, and operations as a managed product under decision D33. The pages are generated from model/examples.yaml, so the agents, blueprints and templates they name are the ones in the architecture model.

Why examples exist

The Factory is an organizational AI operating platform; the Software Factory and Generated SaaS packs are its first solution. An example shows a reader with a domain and no Factory knowledge what the Factory would produce for them, and shows a reader who knows the Factory which capabilities a vertical actually exercises. Hospitality is the running example used in the blueprint and UX pages.

Reading the examples

  • The generated product shape is a C4 context diagram with the product's bounded contexts; each context becomes a microservice module on the BaseTemplate shape unless the example says otherwise.
  • The Vision-to-Production path names the agents and blueprints per step; the per-vertical workflow pages walk the 24-step reference flow for that vertical.
  • Operations describes the managed edition (D33, D34): SelfOperated products are inventoried for upgrade offers; Managed and ManagedPlus products get objectives, on-call and off-boarding with evidence.
