Data and recovery

  • foundations-sql is authoritative for registrations, bindings, rules and orders: RPO 15 min, RTO 4 h (D30); it restores first in practice because every other host resolves its bindings and topics from it at start-up — the D30 order (journal, approvals, releases, outbox/inbox, artifacts, indexes) assumes the foundations are already there.
  • Hosts keep their last-resolved topic set and bindings locally, so a foundations outage does not stop publishing or persistence.
