Integration Platform — Observability

Target

This page describes intended behaviour or structure. No implementation is claimed unless a section is explicitly marked Current implementation or Evidence.

Spans and receipts

Outbound deliveries are child spans of the calling tool invocation (run.id, attempt.id, invocation.id) with connector.id, connection.id, delivery.id, the credential kind and the vendor status; inbound deliveries start a trace at the ingress with ingress.ref, connector.id, delivery.id and the verification outcome, and continue into the dispatched target. Payloads are never on spans.

Metrics

Metric Why it matters
connectsoft.factory.integration.connections by state degraded, suspended and revoked connections
connectsoft.factory.integration.rotation_due credential hygiene
connectsoft.factory.integration.resolves by outcome grant denials
connectsoft.factory.integration.deliveries by direction and state delivery reliability
connectsoft.factory.integration.delivery_latency vendor and dispatch latency
connectsoft.factory.integration.webhooks_received by outcome signature problems, replays, floods
connectsoft.factory.integration.connectors, subscriptions registry state
connectsoft.factory.integration.host.adapter_health adapter health

Logs

Structured, keyed on connection, connector, delivery and ingress ids; no payloads or credential material.

Health

/integration/health (store, secret broker, adapters) and /webhooks/health (ingress); readiness of the ingress fails when the signing-secret broker is unreachable.

Objectives (pilot class, D30)

Objective Target
Resolve latency p95 under 100 ms
Inbound verification to dispatch p95 under 5 s
Outbound delivery receipt for 100 % of deliveries
Connection health detection within 10 minutes
Replay after an incident operator-triggered from stored payloads within the retention window

Dashboards and alerts

Dashboards: connections by provider and state, rotation due, deliveries by connector and outcome, ingress outcomes, adapter health. Alerts: connection Degraded for a provider in use, bad-signature rate rise (rotation at the vendor), delivery failure rate, ingress rate limiting, rotation overdue.
