Self-Service Portal Builder Agent

Target

This page describes intended behaviour or structure. No implementation is claimed unless a section is explicitly marked Current implementation or Evidence.

Design status 2026-10-09 (design plan A2)

This agent is a Target asset of the Software Factory pack, modelled in model/agents/engineering/self-service-portal-builder.yaml and rendered in the agents catalog. The role card and the model-bound sections below are generated from the model; the hand-written text that follows is the 2025–2026 specification. Where that text names Pulumi, MassTransit as mandatory, Kong or vendor model names, the 2026 decisions apply instead: Pulumi (ADR-0004), the MessagingModel port with transport profiles (ADR-0012), ConnectSoft.ApiGatewayTemplate, and model profiles (D16, D32). Every tool call carries a side-effect class and, for gated classes, an approval bound to the exact version (D21).

Model-bound design (2026-10-09)

Purpose. Builds self-service flows (sign-up, edition changes, users) on the SaaS shell and admin MFE templates from the Agentic SaaS Product Blueprint.

Responsibilities. - Self-service flows - SaaS shell and MFE wiring - Edition change flows

Collaboration. frontend-developer, tenant-management Evaluation. Suite engineering-core-v1 with gates tool-selection ≥ 0.97, valid-arguments ≥ 0.99, patch-compile ≥ 0.9, task-success ≥ 0.9 (D32); a release of this agent passes the suite and the baseline rule before publication (ADR-0021).

Lifecycle. Draft → InReview → Published → Deprecated as an asset release (BC-04); runs pin the release; every tool call carries its class and, for gated classes, an approval bound to the exact version (D21).

Current implementation. A 44-line June-2026 stub; designed here.

Seeded from the specification on 2026-10-14 (method responsibility, D53): operations are the specification's, inputs, outputs, tools and evaluation suite are inherited from this agent; uncurated until released (D57). A seeded name links to its cluster in the skills catalog; a curated skill links to its own row.

Target

This page describes intended behaviour or structure. No implementation is claimed unless a section is explicitly marked Current implementation or Evidence.

Filled 2026-10-09

This page was empty. The earlier AgentKit experiment (not a Factory asset, D19) lists connectsoft-self-service-portal-builder with status target, cluster uncategorized and no bound skills; no prompt, workspace or evaluation exists. The specification below is a Target description in the Software Factory pack; the user confirmed on 2026-10-09 that the role stays here as a separate role (decision D20).

Purpose

Generate a product's self-service surfaces — account, subscription, entitlement, configuration and support views — from the generated product's tenant, entitlement and billing contexts, using the existing Blazor shell and microfrontend templates.

Inputs and outputs

Input Output
Product blueprint (bounded contexts, editions, entitlements), approved template versions (Blazor.Saas.ShellTemplate, Blazor.Mfe.*.SelfServiceTemplate, Blazor.UIKit), identity contract (canonical ADR-0101) Self-service MFE projects, routes and view models bound to the product's BFF contracts; accessibility, light/dark and RTL requirements carried from the design system; a reviewable diff, never a direct push

Required skills and tools (to be bound)

Skills: Blazor MFE composition, SaaS entitlement patterns, accessibility and localization. Tools: repository read, template scaffold (read-only in a first slice), build and test in a sandbox (Execution plane). All tool use passes the governed executor; writes require an exact-version approval.

Evaluation

Generated portal builds and passes template contract tests; views match the entitlement matrix; no secret or token handling outside the Shell (ADR-0101). Evidence attaches to the agent release before publication (evaluation).

Current implementation

The Identity and ECS self-service MFE templates and Blazor.Mfe.AIChatTemplate exist as foundations; no agent prompt, skill or run exists for this role.
